Art Retreats
The drama and beauty of the South of France offers a refreshing view of the world for guests looking for a creative retreat. All ability levels are welcomed.
The Château compound, which includes the adjacent Villa Marguerite and six acres of historic gardens, offers indoor and outdoor studios, as well as lecture, performance, and instructional spaces. It also provides lodging, common areas, and food preparation facilities for participants and instructors to enjoy.
Workshop and program participants are welcome to take the guided tour of the Henry Clews Museum and to attend, free of charge, any of the public cultural events that occur during their stay at the Château. There are also many museums, historic sites, and cultural attractions nearby.

JOIN A WORKSHOP
Art Students League of Denver, February 12-19, 2025
Join ASLD in the South of France, at the beautiful La Napoule Art Foundation, for a special atelier working alongside contemporary realist painter Daniel Sprick. Sprick’s meticulously executed portraits and figurative compositions combine muted palettes to achieve a sense of stillness and slow contemplation. His paintings feature a range of subjects, from still lifes of objects to interiors and urban and pastoral scenes. Participants will spend five days painting with Sprick, learning from him as he works. Each day may include some demonstrations and discussion of his techniques while you work together in this beautiful setting. The evenings will include critiques. Please note, this will be a self-guided experience for much of the time.
For information or to reserve your spot, contact Rachel Basye, r.basye@asld.org.
